Difference between serious tone and friendly tone
“Tone” is the way the author or speaker expresses his attitude through his writing or speaking. Tone may be formal or informal, objective or subjective, logical or emotional, intimate or distant, serious or humorous, pessimistic or optimistic, serious or friendly. Your tone defines your mood.
